Go-Bags and Support to Help You Recover

The Wagner Family Fire Fund helps families whose lives have been shattered and are displaced as a result of losing their homes to a fire.

Consider giving locally with a donation of any size to the Wagner Family Fire Fund.  Your gift will go a long way to help us maintain and expand our mission by offering relief, assistance and support to a family in Kenosha County who loses their home to a fire.  Send your tax deductible gift via Paypal or Venmo or mail it to Wagner Family Fire Fund, P.O. Box 73, Salem, WI 53168.

Thank you for your support!

Our mission is to offer relief the day of the disaster, assistance throughout the rebuilding process and support to families in Kenosha County as they work to recover the loss of their home to a fire.

The Wagner Family Fire Fund is a 100% volunteer run 501(c)(3) established in June 2021 to help families who lose their homes to a fire. On August 28, 2021, the fund held its kick off event, and in the September following the event, delivered Go Bags to area firehouses.

Our Story

It was a cold April night, so we lit a fire in our fireplace to take the chill out of the house. About halfway through our TV program, I noticed flames flickering and reflecting in the stained glass front door. I looked from the fireplace to the door thinking it may have been a reflection. At that very moment, our smoke detectors started blaring, and Jake charged down the stairs thinking he left something in the oven that caught fire. Then I realized the flames were in the window of our garage…
